Through established partnership and collaboration with various stakeholder groups the Ministry of Education, Youth and Information will be administering the Jamaica School Certificate assessment a(JSC) during the period Monday, August 24 to Thursday, August 27, 2020 in over 30 centres island wide.


Private candidates will be contacted by the Student Assessment Unit to be informed of their assigned centres. Should there be any challenges, private candidates should contact the Student Assessment Unit at 876 948-9254; 967-7857 or email Mrs. Nicole Jibbison at [email protected]

Candidates are being asked to observe the following guidelines:

 Wear a mask and take along with them hand sanitizers.

 Take a valid ID to the examination centre.

 Be present in the examination room no later than 15 minutes before the start of the examination.

 Use only No.2 medium soft or HB pencils to shade in the responses on the answer sheets. Blue or black ink pen should be used to write all other responses.

 Sign their names and the booklet number in the bottom right hand corner of the answer sheet.


Disruptive behaviour or failure to carry out the instructions of the Presiding Examiner may result in a candidate being disqualified from the examination.
